Our Philosophy
When we opened the doors to our boutique salon back in 1997, we did it with one irrefutable fact in mind…and here it is.
When your hair looks great, you don’t just see it, you feel it. Its an inner confidence, an extra spring in your step and we like our clients to enjoy that feeling everyday. You’ll find our styles and cuts are effortless to keep in shape, even on the most hectic of days; just knowing your hair is the last thing you need to worry about does wonders for the soul.
And if you think you have high-maintenance hair, worry not, we’ve got that covered. We’ll help you find a style that’ll look great day in, day out, no matter what the world throws at you.

We offer a wide range of services at Hedley Twist from cuts, colouring and tints, reshaping, styling and a variety of treatments – from simple to most demanding hair, we’re here to help you find what suits you best. We like to start with a consultation, find out a little more about you and your hair as well of course what you’re after. So please feel free to book a consultation and we’ll soon be having you experiencing your own good hair day.
Wedding Specials
Want great hair for your wedding? Why not come in and we can discuss what would suit you for your special day. And on the day, if you’d like to escape to the salon or if you’d rather we come to you, we can work to however suits you. Prices provided on consultation.

We love our salon. We’re in it all the time so we made it feel like a home from home. It’s comfortable, relaxed and a little bit special, which is just how we’d like you to feel when you’re with us. Feel free to pop in for a chat and see for yourself. You can even say ‘hello’ to Dibley and Teasel who are here most days, normally sleeping. They’re fantastically cute and constant reminder that us humans really have nothing to worry about in the hair department!
